I have flown out to present at the 11th annual forum for the International Academy of Collaborative Practitioners, being held in Washington DC from the 28th-31st October.
I am presenting on my first book, Conversational Riffs, and how it can help people using the collaborative law process to keep talking and working together, even when the going gets tough.
So far, I have attended a fascinating workshop on forgiveness, exploring how it works and how separating couples can forgive without giving up on getting a fair settlement.
Other presenters include renowned practitioners,academics and authors including Chip Rose and Robert Mnookin, so I am in excellent, if slightly daunting, company.
